Our Story
Our search for Alpacas began several years ago; we just didn't know it at the time. My wife and I have searched many times for the perfect business venture in which to invest. We considered several ideas but rejected them all for one reason or another.
It is only recently that my wife and I discovered these wonderful animals and began our Alpaca Farm & Breeding business. Originally we purchased three bred females and four young males. We intended to use this as our foundation herd, but one of the farms we visited told us that after 10 years they were ready to retire and were we interested in acquiring their herd. Well the idea and the arrangement was very intriguing and the opportunity seemed much to great to pass up. So now we have a wonderful synergy of genetics between two well established and successful farms.
Now after several years of searching we have discovered an exciting, rewarding and lucrative business venture that will offer us a country lifestyle, opportunities to make new friends and develop many wonderful and lasting memories during the years ahead. One of our most exciting moments was witnessing the birth of our first Cria a beautiful dark brown male.
Today my wife and I manage a herd of 20 Suri's with several Crias due this summer. We also have two horses, three Great Pyrenees and a barn cat named pumpkin. We hope you come for a visit and recognize our Alpacas as quality foundation animals for a new farm or valuable additions to an established herd.
Our thanks to Glenn & Jean Whitehouse of Cedar Haven Alpacas and Darrell and Barb Bahr of Falcon Quest Alpacas for helping us get started.
